About Us
NADENT was founded over 40 years ago by Dr. Charles Silberstein in Islip, New York. Under his leadership, NADENT pioneered the methodical review of dental trauma claims for insurers and self-insureds. Over 20 professional dental consultants throughout the country enable NADENT to review millions of dollars in claims and to provide fast, written reviews, expert witnesses for arbitration and litigation. Training is also available for claims handlers, either by webinar or in-person site visitation.

Transition in Leadership:
In early 2013, Dr. Silberstein appointed Dr. Joseph Tomlinson to succeed him as the national director and he has been an integral part of Nadent’s success over 30 years. Dr. Sara Sybrant has recently taken over Dr. Tomlinson’s role as president and CEO. She and Dr. Joel Feinberg, along with staff, look forward to continuing and improving upon the tradition of excellence in service NADENT has long been known for.

About Our Consultants:
Over 20 professional dental consultants throughout the country enable NADENT to review tens of millions of dollars in claims and to quickly provide expert advisory opinions, expert witnesses for arbitration and litigation, and in-house or video conference training for claims handlers.
NADENT consultants maintain themselves in good standing with national, state and local dental societies including maintaining annual continuing post graduate education requirements to assure that their recommendations adhere to accepted standards of practice. Most are actively practicing dentists, as well. Many have been actively involved as leaders of organized dentistry.
Many of our consultants are experts in general dentistry while others specialize in orthodontics, TMD issues, oral surgery, implants, etc. In addition, our consultants represent diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.

Management reports (statistics) are available upon request. These reports are available in various formats or can be customized to fit your needs. They can be sent via e-mail.
Our computer files are password protected, assuring claimant privacy. All hard copies of files are kept in a secure location for a period of seven years, after which time they are shredded by document management professionals.
